Source: B&FT - The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) is far advanced with the establishment of a data entry centre that will help to keep records of and track persons who enter the country as part of efforts to position the country as a safe, secure and clean tourism destination.
Nominations for the “Made in Ghana Awards” have opened in Accra. The awards, to be held in August this year, on the theme “Industrialization, the key Strategy to Accelerated Economic Development and Job Creation” will honor 30 most celebrated and outstanding made in Ghana products and services for the production of unique products and the delivery of efficient services.
A delegation of Turkish business entrepreneurs is in the country to explore areas of investment in the Ghanaian economy.
Grouped under that country’s chamber of commerce and industries, the business delegation will explore avenues in areas such as health and spa tourism, construction of tourism facilities and rest stops, real estate, rental and sales, solar energy, marine drive and factories for the assembling agricultural equipment.
