Hi Mr. President,
I am very happy that this opportunity is granted to us, to be able to communicate with you.

This are my questions:

1. How can we create more libraries in oue local communities so the local inhabitants in our small communities especially students could use.

2. Why do you think that it is so important to change the shift system instead of resourcing the educational sytem.

For example, most of our schools don't even have commom computers for the student to use. Not only that; most of our teachers lack computer competence.

So, instead of wasting money and resources in changing the shift sytem. Please, I will suggest that you rather summon your mister of education to draw up policies in areas of the educational system that help to make our educational system more formedable with the global educational system.

I live in the United States of America since 2002. When I came to the USA, my certificate cerifying my level of education could not meet the standards here.

I believe, that there are millions of Ghanaians who have traveled abroad to study and they have to kind of start all over again.

So, please see to it that before you leave office you will create a better educational system, which would be more global oriented so that students who will have the opportunity to travel outside Ghana, would have it easier to fit in.

As for the idea of shift change it is a bad idea.

Thank you for your sincere audience.

Mr. President, we the people of Tetemale, a farming community, and its surrounding villages in Akatsi district of Volta Region are proud of you and your government.

Why?

Simply because you ascend to the "Throne" within one year, we can boast of electricity poles erected from Wute through our town to Klokpe which serve as the boundary between Akatsi district and Adaklu Anyigbe district. Hopefully we shall soon be enjoying the national grid which is going to improve our living standard.

Mr. President, left to ours alone, we would prefer the construction of our road first; but all the same we thank you. Our reason of making this choice is that the road becomes unmotorable during raining season, resulting our farming produce been locked up from market places.

Our area, apart from Afife producing local rice and Avenorpeme also producing cassava for gari, is noted for the production of other cereals like corn, beans and groundnut including tubers and vegetables like yams and sweet potatoes; as vegetables- okro, tomatoes, garden eggs, pepper and onion.

We may say, shamelessly, that our area is one of the food basket of our District capital-

Akatsi and for that matter Ghana as a whole.

Therefore we shall be very happy if you could turn your wise attention to this stretch of road from Akatsi through Wute to Ziorpe which is about 42km long.

Thank you,
Our dear father.

Your excellency President Prof. Fiifi Mills,
All the kids say hi to their uncle, especially your GODSON-baby Isaac, who also bears your home name of Kwame Atta. He was born at the time I asked the Great Almighty to show me a sign when you win, and exactly when i came home to Ghana during the elections that Cardinal Turkson came to pray for you and blessed you in my presence.

We give glory to This Almighty, and I assure Ghanaians that Ghana will begin to transform this year 2010. We are coming home to help and create jobs big time. All Ghanaians will enjoy. As an engineer, we will put Agricultural and housing development first and trnsform our highways to first class roads like interstate 95 in the USA and 401 in Canada. We will put sewer in all the cities, as was started by the Israelis in the 70's at the old Accra Post Office, and was incomplete. Ghana will shine!!!!

Almighty bless you Brother Fiifi and Brother JOJO.

Thank You, Please call us sometime.

Mr. President,
My problem with past and present governments is their failure to remove the kiosks on our roads and pavements. They are an eyesore. These kiosks serve as residences for the owners, meaning they are very comfortable and thereby are able to 'reproduce' in them and little by little future generations remain there because that is the only place they know.

Also, tell the AMA to rid our pavements on the overheads for pedestrians use.

Most of these kiosks are marked 'STOP WORK' OR 'REMOVE'yet, the same AMA staff go round to collect money from them into their pockets and the same AMA goes round people's houses harassing them to stop work inside their own walled houses that have nothing to do with the street!

thank you.

Mr President I think you need to stay more focus on your campaign promises, when people make references to some of these unfulfilled promises I feel bad.when are we going to see drastic reduction on fuel prices,Just come clear and let everybody know if that is not feasible. When are we going to enjoy the onetime payment of the National health isurance. Mr.President dont enjoy all the praises of the die hard NDC supporters and think everybody is happy.

I know there are some people who will never change their mind but majority will change their minds if the situation demands.

Congratulation Mr Prseisdent. So far so good.
However there is a much shorter route to economic recovery. The route is by investing in the young brains from the polytechnics and universities. Many nations are investing in these young brains by sending them abroad to acquire technology. My current experience abroad shows that Ghana is lagging behind in this area. Some African nations like Libya, Nigeria,Uganda, have seen the light and are investing in innovative technologies like embedded systems, computing. and industrial technology.
Secondly our educational system require urgent change in structure and content to bring us in tune with current international trends. Our current educational system is in a way contibuting immensely to unemployment and porverty.
I say this in good faith as a patrotic citizen of mother Ghana.
Long live the president.

His Excellency, I thank God for your life for all that you have been going through since you opted to be a president for our country.Once, we are praying where there is a need for advise I think is good we put it across. My advise is that, you should not forget God Almighty in your daily activities. Also, do not relent on the promises that you have made to GOD at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Nigeria. Keep that relationship very special because, we, Ghanaian at that time we have been praying but only few or none are bold enough to help at that time. Therefore,do not stop speaking with him (T.B.Joshua)if necessary ask God's direction from him because a friend in need is a friend indeed. Furthermore, the warrior team you have asked him to form which is very very laudable because blessed is the nation or country whose God is Jehovah.I heard sometimes money to pay T&T for prayers becomes difficult for them (the warrior team). Please do something for them now. May GOD grant you the WISDOM,KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING given NEHEMIAH to build GHANA'S broken halls. AMEN!

Open Letter to President Mills - Remember 31st December 1981 Events    (03.12.2009)

Dear President,

Ignore my prophetic advice and you and your government are in peril. I will briefly highlight a few points to jog your memory about how dangerous it is to ignore useful advice. The once National Security Advisor to J.J. Rawlings, Captain Kojo Tsikata, was perceived to be a threat to the nation by the Limman Administration. The Military police personnel were detailed to discreetly shadow him. The late Former President Limman is on record to have been warned about the looming treachery of Former President Rawlings in 1981 against his PNP government. Limman had constantly refused to act but had continued to live in the fantasy world of his own. He had completely buried his head in the sand like an ostrich, although danger was imminent. His answer had always been, "Leave him, gyato ntumi nye feeee" Even on 31st December 1981 at the Christmas party, the National security personnel reiterated how suspicious they had become of Rawlings' treacherous movements. They requested his permission to arrest Rawlings yet Limman oblivious of uncertainties of modern life, continued to trust his wits. Limman as ignorant, daft, politically immature and devoid of any tested instructions in the art of politics, continued to live in the fools paradise, still repeating his "Gyato ntumi nye feeee" slogan until the knell sounded a few hours later. "Gyato" has staged a second successful coup d'état to unleash his venomous hatred on Ghanaians.

The inaction of Limman led to the near total extermination of the Military Police personnel. That security outfit was disbanded under the instigation of that murderous Tsikata whose distasteful feelings for the military police personnel were in unison with Rawlings'.

Your Excellency the President please be reminded of the soothsayer's warning to Julius Caesar.

Brutus: A soothsayer bids you beware the ides of March.

Caesar: Set him before me; let me see his face.
Cassius: Follow, come from the throng; look upon Caesar.

Soothsayer: Beware the ides of March.
Caesar: He is a dreamer; let us leave him. Pass. Spurrina is the old soothsayer who first warns Caesar to "Beware the Ides of March." As Caesar enters the Senate building on that fateful morning he cheerfully calls out that the Ides had arrived and he was still alive, to which Spurrina replied" "Yes, the Ides have come, but not yet passed." We are in democracy, Rawlings is no longer in the army but he is still dangerous.

I will suggest you consider the following course of action. Firstly, relieve your National Security Advisor, Brigadier Nunoo-Mensah of his post. This pathetic opportunist has twice in less than eighteen months been cited as engaging in underhand treasonable meetings with Rawlings. His allegiance for unknown reasons is tilted more towards the self-assumed strongman of Ghana, thus Rawlings, than you. Sack Gbelo-Lartey and Emmanuel Amedeka, your National Security Coordinator and Head of the Jubilee House security respectively, for having an unauthorised high level security meeting with Rawlings to discuss issues of national interest. They are in effect sabotaging your authority by indirectly helping Rawlings to run a parallel presidency. Secondly, manoeuvre your NDC supporters in parliament to table a motion for the repeal of that erroneously inserted clause in the Constitution that indemnifies Rawlings from prosecution. That clause - "Indemnity and No Accountability" for Rawlings has made him that strongman he thinks he is. Surely you will be able to get two thirds majority in Parliament to either amend or abrogate that clause.

Furthermore, infiltrate the army with personnel to snoop on those snitching for Rawlings and his band of traitors. This very tactics made it impossible for anyone to stage a counter coup against General I.K. Acheampong. He was only to be removed through a palace coup d'état - by the members of his own Military Cabinet Ministers in a meeting. Carry out a major constant transfer of the military personnel. Move the soldiers around. Transfer officers, from Accra to Tamale, from Kumasi to Volta, from Volta to Sunyani, from Tamale to Accra etc. This will make it difficult for Rawlings to get any close military confidants around him in any given time. Finally, you were voted a president by Ghanaians in your individuality as one Atta Mills with or without the NDC party. That is the cardinal tenet of Presidential system of government Ghanaians have chosen to pursue. This is totally parallel to the Parliamentary system of government where the leader of the party winning more seats becomes the Head of government and hence, the leader of the nation. The leader in this case is not personally voted for by the electorates. Let Rawlings take his NDC party. We shall keep you as our president until the end of your mandate.

"A stitch in time saves nine" "Once bitten, twice shy" and finally, "A word to the wise is enough"

Long live President Atta Mills. Long live Ghana.

Yours truly, Rockson Adofo

Dear Mr. president, can you please make it known to the Ghana tourist board that they are not making Ghana an interesting place to visit. What i am trying to say is that, the internet is now the biggest source of information and therefore if tourists are looking for a place to go in Africa, the internet is their first place of enquiries, and there is nothing interesting about Ghana web, all you will find is disgrace and distorting images. I believe Ghana is not so poor that it cannot feed itself, so let not sell Ghana to the outside world as a country that is so poor that the people are living under trees or on top of trees. Let as not be ungrateful to God for he has blessed as with many things that we can boast of. Thank you.

MR PRESIDENT, ONE WAY WE CAN GET OUR COUNTRY CLEAN FROM THE FILT AND TRUSH IN OUR CITIES IS TO REGISTER ALL PURE/ SATCHET WATER PRODUCERS AND THEN PROVIDE THEM WITH AUTHENTIC INVESTORS WHO ARE EFFICIENT IN PRODUCING POTABLE AND HEALTHY WATER FOR OUR PEOPLE THEN, BAN THE PRODUCTION OF SATCHETS WATER AND PRODUCE RECYCLABLE BOTTLED WATER WITH SUBCEDIES FROM THE GOVERNMENT, THEN WE CAN TAX ALL PRODUCTION AND GENERATE FUNDS FORM THAT AND ALSO CREAT NEW, RESONABLE AND SUSTAINABLE JOBES FOR OUR PEOPLE BY YOUR GOVERNMENT. WE ALSO NEED TO AQUIRE NEW OPEN-MARKET FOR OUR HAWKERS AND THEN BAN STREET SELLING AND HAWKING IN EVERY STREET. WE DO NOT NEED THOSE BOYS ON THE BYCYCLIES COLLECTING TRUSH ON THE STREET, THAT IS FUNNY AND REDICULOUS, VERY SHAMEFUL IN TODAY'S 21ST CENTURY, WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT, PLS GET BACK TO ME AND I PROMISE TO SHARE MY IDEAS WITH YOU MR PRESIDENT, MY CONTACT IS AS ABOVE, I WANT BE PART OF THE PROGRESS, FOR OBAMA TOLD US THAT, OUR DESTINY IS IN OUR OWN HANDS. ANYWAY, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY MESSAGE ACROSS TO YOU SINCE LONG BUT I DO NOT KNOW IF IT GOT YOU AND EVEN IF THIS CAN GET TO YOU. MOST PEOPLE ARE CRYING EVERYDAY THAT IT HAS BECOME MORE DIFFICULT IN GHANA TO SURVIVE ON BASIC NEEDS, BUT I THINK WE CAN DO A FEW THINGS TO HELP OUR PEOPLE.I DO NOT HAVE MONEY TO GIVE THE PARTY,BUT I CAN SHARE MY THOUGHTS WITH YOU AND YOUR GOVERNMENT.
1. IF YOU RECOGNISE FARMERS FROM EVERY REGION AND EVERY DISTRICT AND MAKE A CONTRACT WITH THEM TO PRODUCE FOOD ALL YEAR ROUND AND PROVIDE THEM WITH INVESTORS WHO WILL TEACH THEM HOW TO GO ABOUT THIER FARMING , I THINK NOBODY WILL EVER BE HUNGRY IN GHANA.

Mr. President,
I write to congratulate you as president of the republic of Ghana.
One man's meat is another man's poison, so is Ghana as some may like you and other's may
dislike you. This does mean that it will disturb your ruling as a legitimate president.
You have actually done a yeo man's job by rewarding our proud Black Satellites as some people thought it was impossible.Your name Asomdweehene has gone a long way that the second term is yours in the mighty name of God. I am rather short of words in the sense that if I mean to describe you, the space may be too small. All the same I pray to God to guide you in your endeavours. The challenges will soon wither off and those who oppose you will sing praises for a successfull governance. MAY GOD GUIDE AND BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY.

Congratulations first of all on your election to the high of the land. I appreciate your leadership so far but I have this request to make.

It's about your party's promise to wipe off taxes on teacher trainees allowances when given the nod. we are still waiting to have that done, and just to let you know that teacher trainees are getting impatient with the way things are going. Also an alleged increment in their allowances have not reflected yet and they think it is TTAG that is the problem.

I kindly call on your "up to task" office to do something about this before their hearts are taken of the party.
Wish you well!!
