The gently sloping beach makes for great swimming and around Abokwa Island the snorkling is excellent, the best time of year for swimming, enjoying the beach and snorkling is in the winter months during the dry season.

SURFING at BUSUA BEACH

 

The best surfing is in the summer months during the rainy season.

 

HOW TO GET TO BUSUA BEACH

(FROM ACCRA)

 

Take a taxi to the Takoradi Station for Mini-buses (the cheapest) or the -STC- State Transport Terminal for overland buses (the safest).

Travel West 200 km from Accra through Winnaba and Cape Coast to Takoradi.

There take a taxi 25 km to Busua, or go to the Tarkwa Station and take transport to Agona Junction.

From Agona Junction travel 10 km South to Busua.

BUSUA BEACH; (also called Busia Beach sometimes) 25 - 35 min FROM SEKONDI-TAKORADI.

ONE OF THE BEST BEACHES IN GHANA. NOT TO MANY TOURISTS AND CHEAP ACCOMODATION.

Etwa 25 bis 30 min von Sekondi-Takoradi entfernt und ist einer der beste Straende in Ghana.

Im moment noch nicht sehr viele Touristen und daher mit guenstigen Uebernachtungsmoeglichkeiten.
