The Tetteh Quarshie cocoa farm in the Mampong-Akwapim North District is a tourist attraction with a museum and visitor reception.

It is the first cocoa farm established in the Country from seeds first brought from Fernando Po Island. Ghana was the biggest cocoa producer in the world and today it is still at a second place behind Ivory Coast.

Ghanas Tourism Minister stated in 2003:
"The farm though symbolic in terms of its contribution to the country's agricultural achievement, we as a people seem to have taken what God has given us for granted because the way it is now, reflects our little attention to maintenance and preservative culture".
