Asmankese is a town situated in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

It has a population of approximately 34,000 people. It is on the main highway between the two biggest cities ofGhana.

Accra on the coast and Kumasi in the interior .

The Municipal shares boundaries with Kwaebibrem District to the North, Birim South to the West, Agona, Ewutu Municipal and Ga East Municipal to the South, and Suhum-Kraboa-Coalter and Akwapim South districts to the East.
