A smooth, scenic drive on the N1/Accra–Cape Coast–Takoradi road. As of 2024, 2025 massive road works a re ongoing. Halfway into Cape Coast, roads a pretty bad. Thereafter, its a quiet smooth driving.

Originally built by the Dutch in 1642, Fort Orange served both as a trading post and military fort. It now functions as a lighthouse and is one of Ghana’s lesser-known coastal forts, worth visiting for its historic significance and sea views.
