The National Theatre of Ghana is jointly built by the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Ghana.

It is a beautiful edifice located right in the heart of Accra.

The National Theatre of Ghana, houses three resident companies; namely
* The National Dance Company

* The National Theatre Players (Abibigromma)

and
* The National Symphony Orchestra

It also has three youth groups called;

* The Dance Factory
* IndigenAfrika

and
* Vision Band
